East Auckland is a mecca for op shop and thrifting enthusiasts. We have a huge selection of op shops around East Auckland, supporting incredible organisations. Op Shops are primarily run by volunteers who are incredible at creating innovative and forever changing displays of the wonderful array of products that come through their doors through generous donations.

Some highlights for some of the op shops are detailed below.

The Salvation Army Store Botany is a large store with lots of furniture, toys and vintage items. 

At SPCA Howick they have a wonderful selection of books. Here you can also find a great designer bargain from time to time. They have a great range of kitchen and glassware items. Their kids clothes section is small but have really great options.

St Johns Howick is great for a fantastic range of clothing for all the family, with great options for shoes. They even have local school uniforms from time to time. Here you can also find the odd vintage furniture piece. 

The Charity Boutique, Rices Mall is a small but upmarket store and is where you will find a lovely selection of clothes, shoes, and some vintage glassware.

Eastgate Op Shop is a large store, with plenty of everything and can keep you occupied for hours. The kids are well looked after here with plenty of kids items, toys and dressups. You will also find a range of furniture, household items and the odd trinket.

Ben Lomond Hospice Shop is one you can also spend hours in, it's nicely laid out and well organised. They offer a great selection of clothes, manchester, household items, small appliances and plenty of trinkets. 

St Columba Op Shop is great for kids clothes and glassware.

Hospice Shop Howick (Rices Mall) offers lots of clothes, books, a range of glassware and kitchen items and a good selection of vintage items.

Habitat for Humanity Restore is a great visit and offers building materials, furniture, knick knacks, clothing and so much more.
