Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the largest providers of technical, vocational, and professional education in New Zealand.  We have five campuses across Auckland and a large number of facilities to support student success, many of which are also open to the public. 

East Auckland Tourism has been working with MIT students working on their Tourism Paper.  The students' assignment is to produce a comprehensive proposal, itinerary and report over many months about a specific region of East Auckland that they visit and then research.   East Auckland Tourism provide some direction and information relating to the area to assist the student, providing a great collaborative relationship with MIT.
