  • Bus tour starts and ends at Half Moon Bay Ferry
  • Collect from Ferry Terminal at 10am and return to Ferry Terminal in time for 3.15 ferry back to Auckland City
  • $25 per person (Maximum of 10 people)

Tuesday Itinerary:

  • Nature Spot : Musick Point
    Popular with locals this short walk has scenic views across the Hauraki Gulf. Art Deco building used for radio communication during war.
  • Art and Culture :
    Option 1: Howick Historic Village
    Original beautifully restored Settler buildings in village setting—voted best attraction; café and shop.
  • For 23rd & 30th April ONLY due to filming at HHV
    Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple 
    In Tang Dynasty architectural style. Explore the garden and art galleries; Tea House café serving vegetarian food plus Buddhist art and gifts.

OR

  • Option 2 : Te Tuhi Contemporary Art Gallery
    : Polish Museum
    : NZ Knit Factory
    : Howick Village

Local contemporary Art; Polish history recorded by refugee who arrived in NZ in 1944; local wool factory shop for beautiful wool/possum products; quaint village with cafes and shops.

Local Interest : Stockade Hill
Historic site : settler fortification now well loved site for local commemorations and celebrations with beautiful views across the gulf

Wednesday Itinerary:

  • Nature Spot : Mangemangeroa Walkway
    Popular with locals this walk gives scenic views across the native bush and mud flats
    of the Mangemangeroa inlet
  • Art and Culture :

    Option 1 : Howick Village & Uxbridge Centre
    Quaint village of shops and cafes with seaviews across the Hauraki Gulf; art gallery; Garden of Memories with Te Whare o Matariki used for education and cultural activites (closed to public)

OR

  • Option 2 : Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple
    In Tang Dynasty architectural style. Explore the garden and art galleries; Tea House café serving vegetarian food plus Buddhist art and gifts

OR

  • Option 3 : Whitford Village drive and visit
    Scenic drive, short walk, shops and café

  • Prebook 48 hours prior : Half day $25 per person (up to 5 hours):
    Full day $50 per person (5 to 8 hours)
  • Minimum 8 people – Maximum 10 people
